New APA Textbooks in Brazil and Japan

Authors, writing in their native languages, in Brazil and Japan, have joined the authors of textbooks in Finnish and Korean. The APA textbook in Portuguese by Eliane Mauerberg-de Castro, Director of our 2007 Symposium in Brazil, was published in 2005. A textbook entitled Science of Adapted Sport, when translated, was published in Japanese in 2004 by KyonosukeYabe, Katsuhiko Kusano, and Hideo Nakata. Longtime IFAPA members will remember that this threesome edited the excellent proceedings that emanated from the 1993 ISAPA in Yokohama, Japan. Yabe and Kusano are past Board members of IFAPA, and Nakata is a current Board member.
